Renders of the final character

Here's some turnarounds of the final character and props. Not too happy with how these videos turned out. I don't really like the lighting setup that i had created. For the next problem i think i'll take more time into creating a decent setup for the lights. Sorry for the quality of the videos.




Turnarounds - Character and Props


So the spec anim project went alright, finished for this week now though. Picking up again in a few weeks, to  add more detail to the character in Zbrush. Haven't used Zbrush before, so it should be interesting to learn a new programme. I was pretty happy with the final design for the character, i think it'll suit the final environment quite well. Here's the final turnarounds, coloured and uncoloured of the character and both of the props.

3rd year - time to knuckle down!

So my final year has begun. Feeling nervous and anxious to be honest but very excited to get the project started. Really feel I need to knuckle down and produce some of my best work. Going to be a long and hard year but looking forward to it!!

The big brief!!

So the idea my group has come up with is a first person shooter in a small Russian town that has been abandoned due to an explosion at a power plant and the radiation that came after it. I have been tasked with creating one third of the environement and various props that will litter the scene.

Before i get started on all this mind, there is another project to focus on..
for this project i am to create two props and a character in Maya, a programme i have never used before..

Knight Model

I started texturing the knight model from my other personal project, but none of the medieval textures i created suited the model so i decided to try out a futuristic style instead. This looked much better already so i carried on with it, heres the outcome of the final (futuristic) knight! turnarounds to follow..





 

Finished Horse Model

My FMP is going well so far, just finished texturing my horse model for my personal project, had a few problems with the tail and the mane but i think the outcome looks quite good.
