Shop designs
This is the final building design, the shop. I wanted the shop to have big windows but be a fairly small building, so the design i came up with has four big windows and just a door, which is exactly what i wanted.
Final School and turnarounds
This is the final design of the school building and its turnarounds. I created a previz for each of the building to see if they fitted the environment, it also helped with seeing what kind of scene each building could sit in.
School Ideas
I wanted the school to be quite squared but not the same as the design for the hotel, i played about with this design a little, trying to make it different from the hotel.in the end i made it quite long but quite thin also, the complete opposite of the hotel design.
Final Shack and turnarounds
The final design i came up with was this shack, it will fit within the game quite fell in my opinion. and will be interesting to create in 3DS Max.
House/Shack design
I started off designing big abandoned buildings, after researching even more into the environment where it would be set i realised that most of the buildings would be small and cheaper looking than the ones i had started to design, i changed my designs to reflect this.
Final hotel and turnaround!
The design i came up with for the final design is a simple squared building, with plenty of windows for the rooms, the inside of this is also being produced by second years. So hopefully everything will line up with their designs.
Hotel Designs
The buildings i decided to design and create are a hotel, a shop, a school and a house/shack. The designs below are of the hotel, i also designed different windows and doors for it, to try and change the feel of the whole design.
Trabant Design and Turnaround
The final car i came up with was a 1975 Trabant, these were very common in Russia in the 70's so would definately be found within the game. The final model will be more beaten up than this design though.
